How to brew chai latte at home
Follow simple instructions to make your chai
Recommended brew ratio 1:10
Original Chai
Hot chai latte
Prepare 25g Original chai mix with 250ml milk unsweetened oat milk or any other plant based milk
1. Heat up the milk and turn off heat right before boiling. Add some ginger slices while heating if you like it spicier.
2. Add 25g or more of the chai mix
3. Steep for 3 minutes and stir occasionally
4. Strain them
5. Add honey if you like
6. Enjoy!
For dairy milk:
1. Heat up 200ml milk until just before boiling. Add some ginger slices while heating if you like it spicier.
2. Pre-infuse 50ml hot water with the 25g chai mix for 2 minutes.
3. Mix hot milk and the chai tea mixture from step 2
4. Steep for 1 minute and stir occasionally
5. Strain them
6. Add honey if you like
7. Enjoy!
Cold brew chai latte
Prepare 25g chai mix with 250ml of any milk
1. Mix them in a jar or bottle
2. Give them a good stir
3. Seal the jar or bottle and keep in refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours.
4. Strain them
5. Add honey if you like
6. Enjoy!
Rooibos Chai
Hot chai latte
Prepare 25g Original chai mix with 250ml of any milk
1. Heat the the milk until boiling. Add some ginger slices while heating if you like it spicier
2. Add 25g or more of the chai mix
3. Simmer for three to five minutes and stir occasionally
4. Strain them
5. Add honey if you like
6. Enjoy!
